The Lake Eldora Race Team (LERT) was formed in 1975 to support local interest in ski racing. Although the organization was originally named for the Eldora Resort, the Lake Eldora Race Team was and remains an independent organization. Today, LERT is the parent nonprofit that encompasses Eldora Mountain Ski and Snowboard Club (EMSC) and Singletrack Mountain Bike Adventures (SMBA).
Founded in 1993, Singletrack Mountain Bike Adventures (SMBA) is the longest running non-profit junior mountain biking program in Colorado. Over the last 20 years, SMBA has been committed to creating opportunities for kids of all levels and abilities to experience mountain biking. SMBA focuses on the individual rider while building, fundamental skill concepts, fitness, character, and confidence. Only at SMBA, you’ll find the MOST qualified, professional and experienced staff that focus on small group instruction and trail riding skills.

With over 20 years of impeccable coaching, teaching and racing experience, Matt emphasizes the importance of building self-confidence, fundamental skills and passion for riding. “Our goal is to provide a comprehensive program for riders of all abilities; beginner to experienced racer, implementing the proven SMBA Technical Curriculum, allowing individuals to excel with confidence in every facet of the sport.”
JESSIE BRONSON, SMBA Director:
After riding with SMBA as a camper in the 90’s, Jessie went on to be a professional mountain biker, gaining experience in racing and coaching. Jessie competed and coaches for the University of Colorado Cycling Team, winning several National Championships, she was a 3 time member of the USA World Championship Team and was a bike guide for Whistler Mountain Bike Park in British Columbia. For the past 6 years she has been dedicated to the SMBA program, helping to creating opportunities for young riders to explore awesome singletrack, tackle new skills, build character and have FUN!
